Server
An Ubuntu host Noodara reaches over SSH.
A Server is a single Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 host that Noodara connects to over SSH. Its credential — a password or a private key — is encrypted at rest and never shown again once saved, including to Noodara's own admins.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Registered, never connected. |
| Connecting | A connect attempt is in progress. |
| Connected | The last connection or discovery run succeeded. |
| Disconnected | Closed cleanly; nothing is wrong. |
| Unreachable | The host did not respond in time. |
| Error | Authentication failed, the host key changed, or a command failed. |
A server can always retry: no status is a dead end.
Fingerprint trust
Noodara verifies the server's SSH host key fingerprint the first time it connects, and again if the key ever changes, before trusting it — see Your first server for the exact steps.
